Why choose QHACS?
As a Registered Provider, we are held to a high standard. We are a small boutique provider who are passionate about what we do. Owned and created by 2 registered nurses, we care about what we do and the service we provide.
We provide support to people only using experienced and qualified nurses as support staff.
All supports are monitored by a Clinical Nurse and Mental Health Nurse to ensure our support nurses are providing care as requested by clients.
Do you provide support to NDIS participants?
Yes we do! We can support NDIA managed, plan managed and self managed clients.
Are your nurses qualified?
Our nurses are registered with the Australian Nurses Board.
All nurses have significant experience across disability, aged care, mental health, and critical care.
Nurses regularly complete in-house training workshops with our nurse educators to ensure they are able to provide complex supports as required by the participants.
Why do you have nurses? We want a social model not medical!
We are nurses and as such are trained to be able to provide support and care and have the knowledge to see if provided support is working.
We believe in the social model of support and employ this. Our nurses will never direct care. It’s about ensuring you get appropriately trained and experienced staff to provide the supports you require.
When are nurses available?
Our nurses are available 24/7
Can you provide complex mental health support?
Yes! We have a resident mental health clinician who oversees support plans for clients who need mental health supports. All nurses within our service complete regular training with our mental health nurse to ensure they are able to provide superior support unmatched by other organisations. The mental health nurse is on call and available 24/7.
What complex supports are you experienced with?
Our clinical nurses have formal qualifications and registration with the Australian Nurses Board.
All of our nurses have formal training and experience for the following:
